Compression ratio?

Post by nlxon »

I'm looking at increasing the cylinder compression in my JOG by removing the gasket and replacing it with some copper spray, after a squish test of course. Do I need to worry about the compression ratio?

130 to 140 is a good range to be in just run 98 in it .People say not to run with out the headgasket but ive done it on several motors as a quick up grade and never had a problem with the copper coat letting go
