next racing is the last weekend of the month, saturday and sunday.
Mt Wellington raceway, Tainui Rd.

Open scooter class, pretty much anything goes. It would be great to see more 50cc bikes there too.
If you have a safe bike with a muffler and no sharp or dangerous protrusions plus protective riding gear (helmet, gloves, padded/armoured jacket and heavy pants) you should be allowed to practice on saturday without any hassles. Then someone there can advise further if you are interested in the racing on sunday.

Additionally it is essentially a non-commercial organisation so volunteers are always sought for race marshalling. At some stage one you have a grip on the rules and flag meanings etc you will probably be obliged to marshal a race.

Considering what you pay to go indoor go-karting or similar, this is extremely good value entertainment and motorsport. So anyone keen to come race scooters should do come down to check it out!
