I hope to come, as I am, at heart, a 50cc man, there's something quite noble about the struggle to make engines that are about 1/3 the size of most people's lawnmower engine go faster...

you've got it in a nutshell there. and when the scooter class is split, the 50cc scooter body class may then be called "The Noble Class". :)

two of our 3 bikes are still 50cc, only the Dio is 75cc. With a bit of recent porting its now getting into its powerband at 70km/h.. think it needs to be geared down a little.

What an awesome day! Best result was Andreas with a 5th place! Not too bad for a scooter with less than half the displacement of the rest of the field! Jamie and his Lets did the team proud too. I cant wait to get out there next race meeting :)

yep that mongreloid masterpiece is filter material barely kept together with zip ties and staples.. quick replacement for the pod which was knocked off by a broken belt at 8000rpm or so.

anyway great fun on the day, back more competitive next time!
