Hi I'm new to the scootling!
I just bought a 2008 Yamaha Jog and am loving it.... The exhaust had a bit of rust cover so I thought I'd remove the rust and give it a coat of heat resistant black paint. On the way home I noticed a strange smell and this morning there is now a dent that wasn't there yesterday?!? I'm thinking the paint somehow insulated the heat so when it cooled down it contracted causing the dent ? Maybe i need to remove the paint...
Suggestions please!

As above its just a exhaust the paint wont hav caused that dent
