I hav just bought a dio from japan it has a af18e in it .it hasnt run for ova a year so should b interesting 2 see wat condition it is i hav only paid $250 for it and freight is free.when its here i plan 2 get it running clean it up and sell it for someone else 2 enjoy i love my nifty 2 much 2 replace plus the new motor for my nifty will b heaps faster and the nifty looks way more retro

How did you find the scooter in Japan? I've been considering selling my sj50 and looking for something a bit more interesting

Yahoo auctions japan but its not worth the hassel because of the new laws here now a bike from japan second hand or new has to be complied if its second hand then u hav to hav the papers from japan to say it has been deregested if you dont hav them papers then it can not b regested here at all

Its because of all those chinese shit bikes that NZ goverment changed the laws

i have found a loop hole in out new law if the bike coming from overseas was a model that was sold here new you can get away without complieing it
