hi guys,
I acquired a older 1986 Suzuki cs50 a few months back, had a worn top end so fixed that up and rode perferectly for a month or so, then one day wouldn't start, checked it had spark and fuel....yip and yip. still wouldn't start.
after going round in circles it had lost spark. I put a new plug and a new coil... no spark.
have pulled off flywheel and stator/magneto, its grubbyish but seems ok, it does not run a cdi or a seprate pickup, I stuck the volt meter on and with kick and electric start is cranking 27ish v
where am I going wrong and does anyone know what voltage it should be pumping? am I even testing it right?
any help/advice appreciated... would love to get it going again
