scratch built moped trike (LB1 vehicle)

Postby Thorburnville » Wed Oct 06, 2010 11:09 am

What problems will I have with making it road legal?
I will use a 50cc or under engine, go kart tyres at the back on a fixed axle that is chain or belt driven, will have brakes, mirror, headlight, brake light, possibly indicators
What sort of standard do the brakes need to be? I'm guessing if you stop it's ok

Do moped tyres need to meet any standards? another guess is that i will need to use groved tyres

Any help would be much appreciated
I am just going off this site as a bible at the moment
