Chinese Scooters - in particular Euro 50

Postby Happy Rats » Mon Mar 19, 2012 9:56 pm

Hi there
I'm not certain but think the Euro 50 by Blackout Power Products here in NZ is a Chinese brand, not the "Sym" Euro 50 available in UK.
Further to one other post I read on here (from 2008!) does anyone have any experience with this Euro 50 from Blackout? I can get a second-hand one for around $200, but a bit wary of Chinese scooters even though I have read recently that they are much more reliable these days ...
Thanks for any advice

Thanks ae86guy
Actually the bike I was thinking about has sold - but I know you're right. I'll keep an eye out for something more decent!

I'm in Wellington. Thing is, I have a Yamaha Jog which is the best scooter ever! but is being used by our 2 teenagers to get to university etc. - thinking about getting a second to make things easier for everyone but not looking to spend much money - the second bike can be a 'dunger' which is likely to be used only a few times per week. :-)
