|
|
Well I rang scootling they where not keen on fixing a Chinese scooter.
So I used one off 50cc scooter it was to short so I used tin snips to cut back the cable casing. Then used duck tape to hold the throttle unit thing on the bars in a good place because the screw in thing didn't fit and the throttle keeped sticking.
Then I switched the sleeves to on both sides so they matched.
Looks shit but it works! Behold.

Yeah it has gone in to get fixed probably after the throttle got stuck on and I went speeding out of control at 70kph and crashed. |

Nothing wrong with that pic...he has chocked the wheel...
A stuck go faster cable is no fun, your scoot wasn't built by a Chinese Co using Toyota technology wast it? |

Haha..true, and he is using proper eye protection while welding what looks to be the fuel tank. Perfectly safe. _________________ www.thescooterreview.com |

I took it to this retired bike looking guy. He has some awesome bikes.
Anyway he used the same cable but made a thread and everything for it.
Worked like a charm. |
