Next weekend I will have my 125cc scooter.
Is anyone keen to scooter up north?
125cc I hope is enuf for the motorway.
Anyway I think we should plan a mass scoot somewhere far away.
Thoughts? |

Ok I am taking my 125cc to nelson from Auckland.
With my girl friend on the back.
 I shall become a legend if I make it.
The plan is to set out of Auckland when it is rush hour so the motorway will cruise at 70kmh.
My girl friend is 40-60kg ( She is a tiny Asian )
We will pack a tent and sleeping bags. Food we will just buy.
The bike should cruise at 80kmh but we can push it to cruise at 90kph.
It does 100kmh but I don't want it to over heat.
Leaving on Thursday ( Not sure on the date yet )
We want to video the whole thing and want people with 80cc > to come.
We will stop just before Wellington motorway and camp out. Head into Wellington and get on the ferrie.
Then drive into Nelson.
Whole trip will be about 24 hours.
We will stay in the able Tasman for Sunday. Get back to Auckland Monday after noon. |
