Does a Honda NSR50 count as a scooter

Postby GerryAttrick » Tue Aug 14, 2012 10:25 am

I know it does not have the generally accepted appearance of a scooter but it a similar same 2 stroke 50cc motor as most of the Hondas and takes 12" scooter wheels and tyres.

I have just bought one so this seems the best place locally to look for info on maintenance and tuning as well as parts whenever required.

I do have a "big bike" but I think there is a place in my heart for scooters too

A few guys who have scooters also own NSR and other manual minibikes, so you may find kindred spirits on here. Welcome!

Sure does, you should be able to register it as a moped no problem. You could gear it to do a maximum of 50 for if they test ride it.
