My Lifan 150 has lost power and wont go above around 50kms/hr after a run of 3kms at full throttle. Ive checked spark plug and cleaned carb but has made no difference. It seems to spin up OK on the stand but just wont rev on the road. Anyone got any ideas?[/b]

roller weight probably worn too far or belt worn, how many Km after last service. I think these have a GY6 150cc engine/trans so spare should be easy to find.

Thanks for that but I have discovered that the carb diaphram had a split in it. This prevented the main jet opening resulting in no power. Thanks to the guys at Linwood Motorcycles who knew exactly what the problem was and couriered the parts to my door.

Actually wanted a Burgman or similar for my wife to learn on but everything was a crazy price so reluctantly settled for this. Its a 2007 with just under 4000kms. Seems to go OK but plastics are very brittle. Seat cover has fallen apart and light switch came to grief also. Speedo reads about 15kms too high as well. With a bit of luck it should be good now. I hate riding it as my bike is a C90T Boulevard 1500cc but is ideal for a learner or city commuter.
