Keeway Matrix 2008 50cc - Trouble with Lighting

Postby cliffgnome » Sun Feb 26, 2012 10:05 am

Hi, First Post.

I'm having big headaches with my Keeway Matrix 2008 50cc, I purchased it as ex-demo 1 year ago.

I've had lighting problems with it from day one, only one headlight works but the tail lights work fine.

Yesterday I was riding to work and suddenly the tail lights went out then about 2 minutes later the remaining headlight died out.

Today i've taken off the front of the scooter to check the lights out and tryed putting new bulbs in it but to no success. I've done a earth/ground test thing and electricity is coming from the plugs but only on certain metal plates/certain wires.

Any help would be appreciated! Thanks :)

If the bulbs are actually burnt I would suggest the regulator needs replacing.

There are instructions in the work shop manual for testing this
niftyfifty
AF18ZX
Polini Corsa 72cc
Malossi full circle crank
Rare Scorpionpipe
Portedcase
CT intake 24mm oko
Disk brake swap
Top speed 115kmh(so far)
still needs lots of tuning
