Vmoto Monaco variator rollers

Postby nedu537 » Wed Oct 13, 2010 6:08 pm

Hi all

Has anybody had any experience with these? I replaced the belt recently so checked out the state of the rollers. They look okay but have small flat spots so I thought that I'd replace them next service. My question is, the Monaco rollers are larger than the rollers that I recently bought that are supposed to be for a standard 125 - 150cc GY6 engine. Does anybody know if I can get away with the smaller rollers? Seems to me that the small ones might let the pulley spread too far and not drive properly initially.

Any help appreciated. Ta:-)

Sounds like the wrong ones for your scoot, rollers should be original size but different weight. The GY6 motor in generic but the variator could be a TGB or Honda copy, measure the old ones first.
