Dan the Man's Let's II / TR50 build

Postby avai007 » Sat Mar 01, 2008 8:49 am

possibly the most involved scooter build up seen so far..

Let's II with an immaculate frame and TR50 engine bolted up

TR50 with the fun bits removed

TR50 front wheel with Sava soft racing compund, MC29 pattern race tyre from Scootling

Sava MC29 for the rear too. Now fitted with Scootling's 230mm adjustable preload rear shock.

Front end and engine fitted to Let's II frame. This gives it disc brake, clamped forks, 12" wheels, longer wheelbase and more ground clearance.

With panels fitted, including custom fuel tank, narrowed seat, custom stays for seat and front panels

Dan then went on to make custom foot peg mounts, new front panel, modify the frame to lighten and stiffen it as well as routing the Burial blaze chamber through the body and over the rear wheel. It is now painted in 2pak gloss black.

The engine is currently a 65cc Malossi mildly ported at Scootling with custom intake manifold, 21 PWK carb, Autoboy high speed pulley, rollers, kevlar belt, Burial Blaze chamber, hi flow KN Kikaku reed block with stuffer all from Scootling.
